Melanie was professional, friendly and very easy to work with. It was clear right from the start that she was there to help us create the ceremony we wanted as opposed to making us fit into a readymade ceremony template. At the end of the day we wanted our celebrant to be someone we felt we connected with… Melanie’s warm open nature made this very easy. We walked away from our very first, very brief meeting with her at the wedding expo knowing that she was the celebrant for us. It was when it came to the ceremony, storm clouds brewing over head that Melanie’s calm professionalism really shone through. She calmly helped me make split second decisions about where and how to hold the ceremony under the threat of heavy rain. We had the ceremony as planned on the beach and Melanie’s delivery of the ceremony was perfect. My decision to hold the ceremony in the sprinkle rain meant that Melanie could not use her PA equipment however every single guest at the ceremony heard every word. Absolutely! Down to every detail. We felt although you bent over backwards to ensure that it was what we wanted. Nothing was silly or too much trouble and you never once made us feel bad for making a change... Very well dressed. Although it might sound superficial, the honest truth is that we picked you over the other referred celebrants based on looks. I had seen so many wedding pictures with celebrants that just looked out of place in the wedding pictures. You know, modern beach couple and a celebrant dressed in a 2 piece mauve suit! It is such a prominent spot right up front in between the bride and groom – we felt it was important to have someone who could recognize and adapt to blend in with our ceremony and day – which is why we chose you! In your pictures on your website, you were dressed nicely, suited to the FNQ environment and we were not disappointed at any time while meeting with you. Your outfit was perfect and you clearly took the time to do your hair and make up nicely (and wind appropriate) – which when standing next to someone who had just spent the last 3 hours doing hair and make-up was very much appreciated... At no point were either of us stressed or worried about the ceremony as you were so well organised and made it so easy to get the legal formalities done and all lodged by the due dates.The ceremony is such a special part of your wedding day and Melanie, you made it so personalised and special and had a very calming, but organised approach. Both Rob and I felt very comfortable talking and getting to know you. Your website reviews were amazing and we got to experience this first hand. We couldn’t have found a more perfect celebrant. I got a good vibe from your page and then we started talking and I knew you were the right one for us. The ceremony was everything we wanted, it was such a perfect day and so special! All of your communication was excellent especially explaining the legal jargon. You looked fantastic and your dress colour looked great with Phil's shirt, he mentioned several times that he liked your dress. I have absolutely no improvements to recommend, you were wonderful and we're so happy with how our day turned out! I would recommend you to anyone getting married in Queensland :) :)

My wife and I were married at Mt Uncle Distillery on the Atherton Tablelands in early 2016. We had the absolute pelasure of having Melanie as our celebrant on our special day.
